Relegation or No relegation to finish the season?
Yes or no to relegation for finishing the season?

YES with relegation, for me.

I can understand people saying its not fair, but thats the world isn’t it, not fair.
What’s the point or interest if there is no relegation? I think it turns the season into a few friendly games to get some TV money.
Shit happens, just get on with it...

I’d take relegation provided the dildos sell up, otherwise not bothered.

Is the Championship going to play out its season?

Re: Relegation or No relegation to finish the season?
It’s a waste of time and will be as boring as fuck if there is nothing to be playing for, which if no relegation is what it will be for the current bottom 8 or 10 sides, even the teams in the next band from 12th to 8th it means fuck all, about the only thing is perhaps prize money for position finished which lets face it is fuck all to get players and fans putting in 100%

It will be bad enough watching games behind closed doors, if no relegation etc to play for, it will be little more than a kick about, no one will want to get injured, no one will give a fuck.

Would you watch it on TV??? Because I know I won’t!

Too right Steady!!

End the shit-show now. Fuck the Scousers. I'd would quite literally CRY with laughter! It would almost make the whole covid thing worthwhile.

And we'd stay up. Win/Win.

Oh, and the NHS would be saved. So would all the old and fat people. Hoorah. Clap, clap, clap.

Cancel the season. 1) puts lives first, 2) we stay up, 3) scousers don’t win the title, win, win, win all round

Finish the existing season as and when they can safely do it, its only 10 games or so, if that means behind closed doors fair enough, I think it'll save a lot of legal ramifications, no point even thinking about next season until a vaccine is found, the same problems will come up again when the expected next wave kicks in.

It’s a bloody joke, cancel the season, start on a level playing field in the new season, give sky the 46 extra games as part of the deal.

I still want to know how it will work if all the players have to keep 6 feet apart.

Neutral venue vs Home ground

Like saying to everyone working at home .... next Monday you can’t work from your lounge.
Be at 131 Monkeyfucker Drive , Hartlepool at 9am this coming Monday to carry on your job

Re: Relegation or No relegation to finish the season?
Fuck it- just have all teams waiting in a section of Wembley and they can wait their turn. Each game can be decided by penalties, if it gets to sudden death and the whole team have taken one then it's a draw. Get it all finished in a few hours and then start again in August.

On a serious note- if there is no relegation then does that mean no champions? I know under normal circumstances Liverpool would have won it by now but as it stands, mathematically, they have won nothing yet. What about European places? You can not do away with one thing and not everything else, so in that case it has to be cancelled.

Teams are not happy about neutral venues but if you have not got your own supporters there then is it really 'home advantage'?

If it was down to me, I would wait for as long as it takes so we can finish the season with supporters present, the only reason this is not happening is ££££.

Play the games with massive goals and no keepers just for a laugh.

Will end the matches with a few Basketball scores. I'd watch that on telly.

Finish the season with relegation and promotion for me.

I also don’t see the point of neutral grounds unless to reduce the chance of locals in crowds gathering outside

If you don’t accept closed doors, you might as well say your not interested in football of quite a while.

Exactly how I feel, they can fuck the whole thing off for all I care, as long as we start again on how it was before Sky money ruined the game

Easy to say as we are not currently sitting in the bottom 3.

Re: Relegation or No relegation to finish the season?
No I don’t think it can be with fans, most reports assume it will be closed doors and just TV.

The debate then goes to neutral grounds. Once its closed doors, I have to say I cannot understand arguments against neutral stadium, but also I do not understand why they want neutral stadium?

If you don’t accept closed doors, you might as well say your not interested in football of quite a while.

Re: Relegation or No relegation to finish the season?
Well, when it was ‘unfair’ that we had Carlos Tevez playing for us, there was a Gang of Four attempting to take us to court, we also got fined by the PL, and Henry Winter forensically undid the benefit of having Tevez which was miraculously the exact amount of points which stopped us getting relegated. Not to mention Sheffield United court actions.

And that was just one player playing for one team.

Re: Relegation or No relegation to finish the season?
I would go with promotion and relegation, IF, all the final games are played at their relative stadiums with fans but that's not going to happen is it?
